UN supported international research into how FT Global 500 use social media for CSR

Last week I spoke at Wolfstar Consultancy’s Global Social Media and CSR Forum in London which was supported by the United Nations Office for Partnerships. The forum was to launch the results of our extensive international research programme examining how companies in the FTSE Global 500 use social media and social networks to support their corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategies. The forum was part of the Communicate Social Media in a Corporate Context conference.

This is the first phase of a much bigger project and future phases will include conducting more in-depth analysis, case studies and interviews with some of the companies that have been identified as being the most active in using social media to support their CSR strategies.
