Two more conference speaking gigs coming up soon. The first is the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Social Media Conference in London and the second is the Social Media in a Corporate Context Europe Conference in Amsterdam.

At the CIPR Social Media Conference I’m presenting on ‘The continually evolving social world’ and will be covering topics ranging from key digital trends in 2011, what new technology is on the horizon and what smartphones and social networking sites will be able to do in the next 12 to 18 months and how it will impact on PR practice. This is a must attend conference for PR professionals at any stage in their career who need to know more about how to integrate social media in public relations strategy. The conference is on Monday, April 11 at the CIPR HQ in Russell Square, London.

At the Social Media in a Corporate Context Europe Conference I’m doing ‘The social media newsroom X-factor’ where we’ll take a look at some of the best European social media newsrooms and see how they compare with the best in the world. For once Wolfstar Consultancy isn’t responsible for any of the social media newsrooms being presented, usually our work for First Direct and Sony Ericsson is what’s being showcased. This is a must attend conference for corporate communications professionals who need to understand social media. The conference is in Amsterdam on Tuesday, May 10.
