Speaking on business and the social web

I’ve got a couple of more speaking engagements coming up soon. The first is on June 1at Leeds Business Week and the second is another public relations conference organised by Nicky and Andy at Don’t Panic (more about this one soon).

At Leeds Business Week my session is looking at business and the social web. For a lay audience it will examine how businesses need to adapt to the changes that the social internet is bringing and how it is not just about technology and the ubiquitous Twitter and Facebook.

It’s part of the Leeds leads the future of the digital industry stream. You can register to attend in person here, or we’ll also be live streaming it via Kyte on the Leeds Business Week website. You can follow what’s happening at Leeds Business Week on Twitter and join in using the #hashtag #leedsbizweek.

Leeds Business Week runs from June 1 to June 5, culminating with the Yorkshire International Business Conference where speakers include John Cleese, Dave Stewart (Eurythmics guitarist and now successful businessman) Tim Smit (Eden Project), round the world yacht’s woman Tracy Edwards and the Daily Telegraph’s Matt cartoonist.
