Spell check firm issues news release with spelling mistakes

We’re all guilty of typos. One thing that we insist on at BMA PR is that news releases (yes we still use them and probably always will) must be double checked by a second person before being sent out. It’s basic PR quality control.

However, this doesn’t apply to blog entries which is why mistakes too frequently appear here (Zoundry does automatically spell check everything but that doesn’t catch every typo).

So pity the poor PR person who sent out this news release on behalf of a company that sells software to “stop spelling mistakes on the internet”.

Mind you the story would never have been used by the BBC if they hadn’t made the mistake. Mmm?
