Social media campaign to back Manchester congestion charge yes vote

Lucy Powell, Labour’s prospective parliamentary candidate for Manchester Withington, contacted me over the weekend to ask if I could give a push to her new YouTube video urging a yes vote in Thursday’s c-charge referendum for the proposed congestion charge.

What’s interesting isn’t just the video, but the fact that it has already been promoted by a number of other Labour leaning bloggers including Luke Akehurst, Jessica Asato on The Progressive, Tom Miller and Simon Collister.

The serious message from this is if you have any friends, family or work colleagues in Manchester then please contact them and urge them to vote yes by Thursday.
