Stories you might have missed

Been away for a couple of days so thought I'd share a couple of the more interesting bits from my feeds:

James Richards let us know about RepuTrace, a new business that monitors blogs and discussion forums [sic] to "find any bad news before it finds you"

Mel Starrs and Rupert Goodwins  both noticed the buzz around Steorn, an Irish company that promises "free, clean and constant energy". Steorn took the unusual step of buying a full page advert in The Economist to challenge scientists "to test our revolutionary free energy technology". Mel and Rupert both ask some searching questions. All very curious.
